Is not a Bible word, but it denotes an aspect of God's character-that He knows all things. We cannot hide anything from God. The idea is beautifully expressed in God's answer to Job (Job chs.38-40).

Job then replies to God, "I know that Thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from Thee." (Job 42:2, KJV).
