God is angry when man is disobedient, but God's anger is always
righteous, because it is based on His perfect understanding
of our weakness and failings, and it is always justified.
Even so, God is "slow to anger." (Psalm 103:8).
Man's anger even when it seems justified, is discouraged,
if not forbidden, to the Christian: "Get rid of all bitterness,
rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form
of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving
one another, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians
4:31-32).
"But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as
these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from
your lips." (Colossians 3:8).
