1. Holy Spirit in creation.

The first verse of the Bible tells us how God used His spirit to create the world: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters." (Genesis 1:1-2).

God continues today to support His creation by that same Spirit: "Who appointed Him [God] over the earth? Who put Him in charge of the whole world? If it were His intention and He withdrew His spirit and breath, all mankind would perish together and man would return to the dust." (Job 34:13-15).
