The world to come will be here on this earth when Christ returns.

The writer to the Hebrews wrote: "It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking…. In putting everything under him [Jesus], God left nothing that is not subject to him." (Hebrews 2:5-8).

And the apostle Peter wrote: "You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming…. in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness." (2 Peter 3:11-13).

And John wrote: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 11:15).
